So wow, here I am! I've been pondering for so long about starting my own blog... the usual fears of; Will anyone even read it? Will my content interest anyone? Am I interesting enough to even have my own blog? Then I decided to just throw caution to the wind and go for it!
I've always been someone who enjoys writing diaries, taking lots of photos (as friends can vouch for!) and keeping a memory box (or two, or three), so being the sentimental person that I am, I thought what better than keeping an online journal - something I can look back on and share with those around me.
If you do find yourself here, then thank you for stopping by, I won't spend too much time writing an online CV... but I will tell you a little about myself.
By day I'm a Service Excellence Manager, which is just a fancy way of saying I work in project management. I love my job, the company and the people I get to work with all around Europe.
When I'm not at work, I love to spend time with friends and my lovely boyfriend Mike. Pizza Express trips are always a top option for us followed by the cinema... and you know you go too much when the waitress already knows what you want to order (the shame).
I have a couple of real passions in life, one of which will influence most of this blog content.
The first real passion is history. This probably comes from my dad - I grew up around someone who had such an appetite to learn all about our past and quite rightly so, remember periods of time and people that should never be forgotten. You often find my dad and I trekking off to places steeped in history which we could just get lost in for hours.
My second real passion is beauty (slightly different from the first I know!) Before going into the job I do now, I used to be a Beautician. I studied at Guildford college and completed a BTEC National Diploma in Beauty Therapy. I loved my time there and the people I met (having met my two best friends there), but after completing a year in industry, I decided it wasn't for me in terms of a full-time career.
However, I never lost my passion for the beauty world and most predominantly make-up.
I often randomly post about my favourite make-up purchases or repost new trends or products which are life changing (OK maybe not, but they are to me).
The world of beauty is so much more than just the preconception of someone wanting to shovel make-up on their face... it's about building confidence and making you feel the best you can about yourself and this is what my blog will mainly focus on. The tips and tricks that I have found in the past, my go-to products and treatments I cannot live without.
So, that is a little about me....

❤️ I’m going to be you no.1 fan 😉
